About the Namibia@Work Portal

Namibia@Work steadily evolves capturing the finer points of the Namibian Labour aspects such as Employment promotion, Employment security, Economic and Social Development etc. and related information ranging from news, calendars of upcoming events, publications and statistics to discussion forums and questionnaires. Namibia@Work also  serves as Labour portal where all interested parties are welcome and encouraged to sign up, login, have access to and be able to share views and opinions regarding labour issues.

  • Namibia Integrated Employment Information System Launched

    Namibia’s high unemployment statistics is a continuous source of discussion. Now in the latest development and in a move to hopefully start work on reducing the statistics, the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare on 5 December 2013 officially launched the Namibia Integrated Employment Information System. According to the Namibia Press Agency, the function of this system is to collect, store and update information concerning vacancies in the labour market.
